Summary
Simon wouldn’t meet his eyes, but Grace was close enough to see his resolve breaking. He could see how desperately Simon wanted to give in. And he was suddenly, painfully aware of how close they were standing to one another.
“I don’t trust it,” Simon said. “My hunger–”
“I’m not trusting your hunger. I’m trusting you.”
Simon can't resist his hunger for blood any longer, and Grace is desperate to help... any way that he can.

Summary
The stranger pressed against the far wall, curling in on himself. His chest heaved. Bandages covered most of the left side of his face, partially obscuring one eye. A wolf in a foxtrap, teeth bared and ready to snap.
After living for a few years on Erid, Grace and Rocky decide to see what other life exists out in the universe. The last thing they expected to find was a human hurtling through the Sirius star system in a welded sub.
aka, Simon wakes up on a strange spaceship and has to face the fact that he survived the blood ocean.

Summary
The human brain is a funny thing, you see. It’s an incredibly complex structure of neurons and connections, capable of amazing feats (like sending people twelve light years into space), but it’s also a demanding little bastard. Oh, it’s very generous when it rewards you for getting it what it wants, but it also knows when it has given you enough to stop and keep you coming for more. And this is not the first bout Grace has had with his own neurobiology.
His biggest problem right now? Freaking oxytocin.
---
Grace is an stupid and touch starved. Simon is traumatized and thinks he's not worthy of love. They are both idiots. -

Summary
Grace is tasked with documenting Simon's mutations in order to better help the Eridian medical team care for him. Normally he would be thrilled by the prospect of getting to research something new, but it doesn't take long for him to realize that there's a very big problem with this.
Namely, the fact that he might be a little too interested in Simon's mutations.

Summary
Simon’s fucking stupid. He’s always been self-deprecating, but right now he really wants to brain himself on a concrete wall.
Why’d he put on the cardigan?
Why’d he put on the goddamn cardigan?
Because it smells too good, obviously.
Noxiously sweet, like his nose is pressed to Grace’s jugular vein. Temptation, deep and dark as sin, flits through his lungs.
Elongated canines strain against Simon’s gums. His tongue taps one and it’s sharp as a blade.
Shit.
He’s playing a dangerous game, testing his willpower like this.

Or, where Grace and Simon live a peaceful life on Erid now. Except, they're hopelessly in love with each other, blind to that fact, and...Simon's a vampire.

Summary
He is welded into the submarine. He dies. He is welded into the submarine. He dies again. He is welded into the submarine, and he dies, and he is being welded into the submarine, gasping as if his lungs were rotting and drowned in blood.
Simon isn't sure if God is real; Hell certainly is.
