suddenly, I hear a familiar hoot. It was the messenger bird of mine i sent then lost a month ago, though i was shocked it was still alive and even seemed to be doing better, it was holding a new letter! it wasn't perfect, it was rolled up poorly with only a string to keep it in place, but i still had to take it from the bird. I unrolled the paper carefully, the paper itself was cold which was nice to feel in the extreme heat then i continued to read the paper.
"Hi! I had found your bird, it was unfortunately injured so it took a while to send a new note and after finally recovering i can send you back the bird and new letter. So to answer your message i'd love to be your friend" the paper said.
