Summary
Max, a typical 19-year-old university student, was known for his amiable and easygoing nature. He was also known for his inseparable bond with his best friend, Nugget. The two were rarely apart, always having each other's backs, and you could say they were each other's twin. Max was perfectly content with this friendship and couldn't imagine needing anything more.
So, when Nugget started dating someone, Max was taken aback by the flood of emotions that overwhelmed him. He should've been happy for his friend, but instead, he felt an unexpected sense of discomfort. Their routine together was interrupted, and it bothered him more than he would've liked to admit.
Max had never questioned his feelings towards Nugget, he'd never even considered the possibility that he liked guys. It wasn't like he'd ever been interested in girls either, but he'd always assumed that was because he hadn't ever found the right person.
Now, however, he wasn't so sure.
