As perfect as it all is, it doesn’t account for the ring Eddie has tucked safely away in a box of knick-knacks at the back of his closet.
A general plan about a nice dinner down on the coast and a sunset walk along the beach. Christopher there, of course, because basically as soon as they sat down and told him they were together he’d been pleading for Eddie to officially make Buck part of the family. Cotton candy sky and soft sand underneath his knee as he officially popped the question. Because Buck deserves to know that Eddie’s choosing him. Eddie wants him to know that this is permanent. No take backs. He’s never been so sure of anything ever in his life.
Now Buck has beaten him to that.
So, Eddie needs another grand gesture.

Summary
“Eddie?” He hears his name called from the loft.
“Yeah, are you expecting someone else?” He asks, but he’s already headed up there. It doesn’t sound like there’s any emergency and if Buck has called him here for nothing he’s gonna be pissed.
Buck doesn’t answer, and what he sees at the top of the stairs stops him in his tracks. It’s like there are alarms blaring in his mind and he’s so stunned all he can do is stare, searing the image before him in his mind.
Buck sits completely naked astride Tommy’s hips (oh hello, apparently Tommy is here too), and they’re both cuffed to the headboard. What the actual fuck?

Buck finds himself stuck, calls Eddie for help, and Eddie is so totally normal about it.

Eddie gasps, hand freezing, eyes blinking slowly open to find Buck leaning against the doorway of the bedroom (that used to be his and then was Buck’s and now is theirs—since he and Chris have officially moved back from Texas).
He feels caught out, like a butterfly whose wings have been pinned to a board, frozen and under scrutiny.
