Summary
The surname Fushikawa translates to "immortal river." The first half, "Fushi-", can mean eternal life or never dying. It's a surname of life--a blessing to be named after. Surely, the Fushikawa's should live for a long, long time. They should, but there's no such thing as a gifted surname. No no, not when the family is already cursed. Names don't matter in that case.
The only name that matters is Jisei. Why his parents chose that name? I don't know. The name Jisei means self-control or self-restraint. However, the name Jisei also commonly refers to a death poem or a "farewell poem to life." His parents really did seal his fate with that one.
Jisei is many things. It depends on what people know about him and how they choose to perceive his character. To most of society, Jisei is a monster--simple as that. To his father, he is the devil. To himself, he is a demon who just wants to be normal.
To UA, however, he's potential. Even All for One recognizes his potential and he wants it, as well as other villains. The power Jisei holds with those tendrils... he could do so much--villain or hero.
It all depends on him and the sentient creature he's bound to--his quirk.
