Summary
Katsuki swings the door to his room open, and Izuku jumps at the sudden intrusion. The first thing Katsuki notices is just how potent the smell of his sweat is in his room. He didn’t notice when he was languishing in it, but now that he took a quick breather, it’s nearly overwhelming. Sweet caramel scent, burnt sugar aftertaste. Izuku sits on his bed, holding one of his sweat soaked towels in his hands, looking at Katsuki with wide, frightened eyes, like the gazelle that just got caught by the lion.
“What the fuck are you still doing here?” Katsuki asks, staring pointedly at Izuku’s hands that hold the offending fabric. Izuku drops it like it’s suddenly caught on fire, standing up, squirming in place. Katsuki closes the door, the small dregs of natural light from the hallway windows disappearing behind the closed door, enclosing them in the darkness of Katsuki’s room.
