Summary
She owns a total of two formal dresses, as in - nice enough to wear out. Her prom dress from almost six years ago, that by some miracle still fits. And a carmine dress she bought with her first check at the LAPD. It’s knee length with almost non existent sleeves, there are two thin straps instead. The zipper goes all the way down to her back. It’s bold and maybe a bit much, but she’ll take the chance.
She pulls it on quickly and reaches for the zipper, it’s out of her reach. She decides to ponder whether her hands are really that short later. Celina opens the door a crack, ‘Aaron!’
He hums in response, ‘help me zip up, will you?’
There's some shuffling around before he walks up to her, ‘I don’t want a single strawberry shortcake joke out of you,’ she warns before spinning around.
‘I didn’t say anything!’ he splutters, ‘yet,’ Aaron adds as an afterthought.
She elbows him in the gut.
His hand is warm as it reaches for the zipper, she goes completely silent. There's something unknown brewing in her abdomen, something she doesn’t really want to name.
