Carl almost says no. The only thing stopping him is the knowledge that if Negan wanted to kill him he would have already. He opens his mouth. When Negan pushes the pills to the back of his tongue he can taste the dirt and sweat on his fingers.
“Good boy.” Negan withdraws his fingers and pushes Carl's mouth closed. “Swallow.” He picks up a half empty bottle of water from somewhere and holds it to Carl's lips. “Drink some of this. That's it.”
