Summary
Kacchan has always said that Izuku has shit luck. But Izuku wouldn't say he had bad luck, sure his quirk came in late, causing his father to leave him, but that doesn't mean anything. And sure people would constantly bully him for his lack of quirk, and then once he got a quirk, an extremely powerful one, people just got worse.
And to top it all off he somehow won the genetic lottery by ending up as a male omega, not only putting him in danger of people harrassing him for his hand in marriage, but also, in combination with his powerful quirk, putting him in actual danger of the hero commission buying him to breed him. And sure maybe he somehow manages to stumble his way into crappy situations, but it was never anything too serious.
But no, Izuku wouldn't say he had bad luck... or at least he didn't.
But now, staring at the sludge looming over the emaciated man, Izuku can't help but think maybe Kacchan was a tiny bit right.

Summary
Humans are mostly vile, loud and untrustworthy beings, so it takes becoming a worser manipulative, scary-smart cryptid to fit in their society.
Nedzu succeeded in this. Now adults are smart enough to not cross his road and teens are scared enough of him to not seek out further contact.
Children, on the other hand, are a problem. Curious, touchy and snot-covered little problems. Nedzu maybe have a rat genes in his DNA, but he does not enjoy getting dirty, thank you very much.
Unfortunately, that one toddler living in a garbage bin didn't get the memo.

Midoriya Izuku was, objectively, the smartest person in Japan, if not the world… Too bad he was such an utter idiot.
To be fair, after a decade of abuse, it was lucky that he was able to even muster up the will to do anything, let alone think, but his adopted family were there for him.
When he told them his dreams to be a hero, they believed in him. Yes, he was Quirkless, but that didn’t matter. He was one of the best hunters in the pack even without his metal scales, so obviously if he wanted to hunt other predators and not prey, they were positive he could do it, even if he was insistent on bringing them in alive.
They vowed they will give him the confidence he deserves.My brain in the middle of the night: Y’know… we have no proof dinosaurs weren’t sapient…
Me, opening my laptop: Guess Izuku’s gonna get adopted by dinosaurs now, I don’t make the rules
My brain, smoking a blunt: waitwaitwait... make him Iron Man
