Kate has had a crush on Yelena since she first saw her on that rooftop and offered to take Yelena for drinks partially to stop her killing Clint Barton but also because she is massively attracted to her, and would do anything to see Yelena again and it's the perfect opportunity, so she sends Yelena the address and then calls Grills and is panicking over what to wear, he gives her some advice and to wear the black tuxedo that she looks so good in to impress Yelena
Then the following day they meet at the restaurant and have their easy banter as if they never had the 6 months of no communicationShenanigans ensue...
