Summary
18 year old Wilbur Soot fought tooth and nail to get his little brother, albeit not by blood, out of foster care and into his custody. They moved to the small town of L'Manburg and things seemed to get better for both of them.
When Wilbur is 24, Tommy is taken to a different layer of reality, where Wilbur is told he's being held captive by Death herself. A man named Dream tells him that to get his brother back, he must steal her angel's wings so that Dream could use them to bargain for him back. And dear god, Wilbur raised hell to get his little brother once and he'll do it again.
