“Sugo do you know what mistletoe is?” Tsunemori asked, practically vibrating in her seat. She reached inside her breast pocket and waited for Sugo’s answer.
“Mistletoe? I think I’ve seen it in one of Gino’s plant encyclopedias."
“Well, l found out people used to hang mistletoe around during Christmas Eve and the funniest thing happened if you stood under one.” Tsunemori said and smiled devilishly.

Tougane took a mouthful of the whiskey and bent down to seal their lips together and pour the liquid into Ginoza’s mouth. Ginoza’s eyes widened, but swallowed the pills and the alcohol, throat burning.
Tougane kept his face close to Ginoza’s, looking closely as Ginoza swallowed and then opened his mouth to take some air. “Yes, just like that. You know what to do next, don’t you?”

kyojuro couldn’t go softly into the night, tengen would never allow it. not after all he’d overcome to stay this long. he couldn’t go softly into the night because that wasn’t befitting of someone as grand, as good, as kyojuro.
he would leave this earth with a bang, if tengen had any say in it.
but not like this, tengen pleaded silently, don’t take him from me like this.
kyojuro survives, but suffers the consequences. tengen is there for every step of the way and thinks about the kyojuro he lost and the new kyojuro he gained.
