Flambae suddenly comments casually, gaining a confused noise from the woman sitting beside him.
”He looks like he’s about five seconds from puking.”
”What the hell do you—-”
Needless to say, that sick feeling was not just his nerves spiraling as Robert collapses to the ground, throwing up whatever he’d managed to eat from his meal, and probably whatever was left from the drinks and the ramen cup from earlier today.
”Ew, what the hell Robert?! You clearly aren’t fine!”
Visi sounds a little panicked now and he could feel couple others check on him too, with Malevola offering him a napkin to wipe his face. Punch Up was crouched beside him - perhaps not necessary with how short he was but anyway - asking if he needed to go to a hospital or something.
”Bitch got a concussion, don’t need a doctor to spell out the obvious.”

The one where Robert feels too guilty over his fight with Flambae to admit he is Mecha Man, then things get complicated when he catches Feelings/Flambae starts to act as his totally-not-a-bf-caretaker. Robert POV first, then Chad for the final 2 flashing through the fic in his POV.Series

Summary
Early into Robert's time as a dispatcher, Flambae is hit by a temporary form of love magic that highjacks his senses and leaves him infatuated with the first person he interacts with. To Robert's terrible misfortune, that happens to be him. Now, he not only has to learn how to handle a supremely compromised Flambae, but survive the onslaught of ridicule from the rest of his team of ex-villains.
Robert has been through all sorts of bullshit before, but even this is new to him. Hopefully, he can weather the storm and get the old, bitchy Flambae back before the HR violations stack so high, they'll kill him if (or when) they come crashing down.

Summary
Robert doesn't know who he is outside of the suit. He feels like there's nothing for him to live for after the explosion, and he has a bad habit of carelessly throwing himself into danger, passively hoping he'll kick the bucket. His dog, Beef, is the only thing holding him back from doing the unthinkable.
When he starts dispatching for the Z-Team, things start to change as he gets closer to them. They see him struggling and decide to help in the ways they can. He finds a family there that he never thought he'd have.
Meanwhile, Robert is getting especially close to Flambae. He keeps finding himself both dragged and drawn towards him like a moth to flame. He struggles with the guilt of not being able to tell him that he's also Mecha Man while their friendship develops. Oh, and he might be falling for him, too, and that just makes things worse. Can he even hope that things will turn out okay?

Summary
What if Robert was forced to take a leave after his concussion received at the bar fight? Robert finds himself at Flambae's home and in his care while he recovers. During this confusing situation, Flambae reveals where his feelings for Robert and Mecha Man clash. With a jumbled memory of this moment, however, Robert finds himself confused by Flambae's actions since.
I was mildly annoyed by Robert having zero recovery time after a concussion. I couldn't even read when I had mine so I needed to fix that. And what better fix it than my Dispatch OTP? Slightly stretched timeline to give them more bonding moments, but the story progresses mostly how the game does. No one gets cut from the Z Team, and no dogs are threatened by Shroud. Why? Because I can.
