Summary
The bloodstain, an ugly brown-red, blooming like a cursed flower, has soaked through Sui Zhou’s clothes all the way down to his skin.
It would be so much easier if it were Sui Zhou’s blood. That’s bearable. That’s familiar. Sui Zhou could live with that. He would hurt all over, and then he would get better, and the wound would leave another scar, and that would be the end of it.
Instead, the blood on his clothes belongs to Tang Fan.
After Tang Fan gets injured under Sui Zhou's protection, Sui Zhou tries to deal with the guilt.

Summary
The newness of it all still overwhelms Tang Fan, leaves his steps uncertain as he crosses unfamiliar ground. The destination, though, always remains the same: Sui Zhou, who has shown Tang Fan how to feel pleasure in all the possible ways but left him to wake up in a cold, empty bed each morning. Tang Fan understands the reasons—recalls them in the shapes of phantom bruises around his throat—but he is a selfish, selfish man, and what he wants, he wants in abundance. He wants to wake up next to Sui Zhou, with his head pillowed on Sui Zhou’s chest, and kiss him good morning before he sends him off to make breakfast. He wants it all, now that he has Sui Zhou. Nothing else will do.
Five times Sui Zhou didn't sleep in Tang Fan's bed, and one time Tang Fan slept in Sui Zhou's.
