Ava frowns. She had assumed the relic was merely to be placed upon whoever was available and considered fit enough. The concept of a line makes it all seem way less spontaneous. In fact, it sounds fucking dynastic.

___This work is a canon divergent take where Ava doesn't run off in episode 3 and the Halo has a unique effect on every bearers body.
