I doubt we will intersect often.” There’s a part of Sherlock, the part that is seventeen and a bit spotty, that is absolutely screaming in the back of his head. That voice is saying, shut up, you prat, don’t be yourself, be the furthest thing from yourself. But lines need to be drawn immediately, else he will fall into a trap of brown eyes and slender shoulders and gently flaring hips. “Though I do need coffee.”
The Work must always come first, after all.
“Don’t mind him,” Mike is saying. “That’s just how Sherlock is. You get used to it.”
“Hope you like spit in your coffee, Mr. Holmes,” Molly mutters darkly, lab coat flaring behind her as she stomps towards the door.
“Black, two sugars, light on the spit.” If he grins a bit at her fire, once the door is shut at her back, well, that’s for Mike bloody Stamford to ignore, if he knows what’s good for him.
OR: Sherlock Holmes teenage celebrity crush is working in Bart's morgue and he's a complete tit about it.
