It was wonderful to finally be able to say such words, to be able to make promises without any kind of uncertainty. He’d given up all of his blood, sweat and tears just for this moment. He was finally one step away from being free. From the horrors of his parents, from the cesspool that was South Park. Butters was already elated just at the thought of that. But there was one thing that he could never leave behind– at least, not without trying: his heart. Him.

Summary
Kenny, at one point or another, had fucked up. Like always. He had always been supportive of Marjorine, whether it was pre-transition, or now. He adored the shit out of her, considered her one of his best friends much like he thought of Stan or Kyle, but maybe a little more. They worked together at the mechanics when they were in high school. She needed out of the house—away from the Stotches, and he needed money. So, they were the perfect duo. He introduced her to the more wild side of teenage rebellion.
He remembered the night they had first drank together, watching her sputter and choke on a beer out next to Stark’s Pond. She had been wearing his jacket because she was cold, and he remembered watching the snow fall onto her crown of platinum blonde hair. He had kissed her that night, for the first time. It was a silent confession, and that kiss was the first of many they were yet to share under a variety of circumstances.
