It strikes Jaemin then, how devastatingly dark Jeno’s eyes appear to be – his gaze is intense, very intimidating actually – but Jaemin is not one to be intimidated, especially not by Lee Jeno.
Jaemin scoffs and rolls his eyes, “How could I ever possibly forget with a man like you as my husband to remind me.”
“A husband in name only,” Jeno corrects smoothly, “Nothing more, nothing less.”
Their marriage was only a marriage on paper. A contractual obligation to merge their companies through holy matrimony – to join their families by joining their hands in marriage. Ironic that it only took the prospect of mutual interests to turn two long standing rival families into companions – apparently, money can solve all problems of the wealthy.
Being enemies since birth becomes irrelevant when Jaemin and Jeno are suddenly forced into an arranged marriage. How can this marriage work when Jaemin has already found the love of his life and Jeno doesn't believe in love?
