Summary
Narinder once again finds himself breathing in fresh air beneath a sunny blue sky, but it's hardly in the way he'd expected. The traitorous Lamb has spared him on a whim, and now he can either stay in their cult and play by their rules, or try to find some means of escape. His hatred of them is completely justified, and although he wants nothing more than to take his revenge, he will have to do what he does best and wait.
The Lamb is tired. So, so unbelievably tired. They gave up what they wanted most to protect what they'd come to love, and while they don't let themself regret that choice, they still don't quite understand why they chose to spare their former god after what he did to them. Their hatred of him is completely justified, and although they want nothing more than for this entire incident to be behind them, the fact that their former god seems obstinate about sticking around makes things... complicated.

Summary
During the five years of separation from their friends and classmates, Caspar and Linhardt undergo two very different experiences. Caspar puts his life on the line, roving around Faerghus and the Alliance as he helps those who have become downtrodden by war, while Linhardt, practically trapped in his family home, reflects on his meetings with friends and acquaintances as he decides what he should do when the appointed hour comes. In the end, they reunite, rekindle their relationship, and set off to see the world, hand in hand.
(A series of three 6 + 1-style fics about Caspar and Linhardt's relationships with the most important people in their lives, and most notably, each other.)
