Click. “Hello?” An exasperated voice answered.
“Hey, Tsukauchi!”
“Mothman, what now?”
Ah right, he forgot to mention the fact that he is the elusive and most wanted vigilante, Mothman. He chose that name so that if he was ever caught or in broad daylight, it would send cryptids and conspiracy theorists insane. Izuku liked that thought.
{Or: Izuku is a moth and his classmates are starting to wonder why the fuck he keeps staring at the light above him for 30 minutes straight}

"Well yeah," Hobie clears his throat, "'cause we're best buds."
"Aw cute."
Then, at that very moment, Hobie is struck with a slice of genius. An idea so amazing it will never fail him or backfire in any way. It might even offer Miles some relief and give Hobie his fridge back. His mouth is moving before he thinks too deeply about it.
"Yeah, we're dating actually," Hobie says, with a dead serious expression on his face, "mad in love."

Izuku inherited his parents’ quirks, but he swore he’d never use his fire.
He knows first hand how—bright, burning, scorching, painful, terrifying, destructive—it is, after all, and Izuku promised (promised his crying mother, promised his burning self, promised the laughing memory of his father) that he’d become a hero who stops that kind of despair.
Even if he has to burn his own wings to do so.
