    Summary

Paige says, casually, “You gonna be good for me today?”

The words send a shiver through Azzi’s body. It’s their little code for when they want to dial things up a notch, slip into a dynamic neither of them are particularly inclined to adopt 24/7 but which scratches that deep, insistent itch whenever it arises.

She tightens her grip on Paige’s forearm, the one connected to the hand lazily feeling her up. “Yeah, okay. I can be good.”

    Summary

Paige tries to prove herself in the kitchen, resulting in a cut to her hand and a necessary trip to the ER. After being stitched up by the world's most stunning, and evidently uninterested nurse, Paige finds herself ending up in the same ER multiple times with unnecessary concerns about incredibly insignificant injuries just to see Azzi again, much to the nurse’s annoyance.

The Beginning of Paige and Azzi
Paige is a basketball star everyone watches, but no one really knows. Azzi, a quiet standout from Virginia, is nothing like anyone expects, yet somehow unforgettable. When they meet on a plane after Team USA tryouts, sparks fly in the smallest, most unexpected ways. Told from both their perspectives.

A slow-burn story about first crushes, friendship, and the moments that sneak up and change everything.

Paige wasn’t too happy about seeing Azzi sitting courtside in Georgia's jersey. Lucky for her, Azzi was planning on that.
