Summary
A series of stories chronicling Velvet and Eizen's life together centuries after both Berseria and Zestiria, in which Velvet is reincarnated as a wind seraph. Begins during the time period when Sorey canonically wakes up, and ignores the sidequest where you kill Eizen as a dragon because 1. it's optional gameplay-wise even if probably meant to be "canon", and 2. because I don't like that sidequest for many reasons, least of all being "I wouldn't be able to write this series if I acknowledged that sidequest, I'm lucky enough there's canonical wiggle room to wake Velvet up"

A lot of Eivel fans seem to regard this as a sacred text for the ship. I am most definitely one of said fans!
It was one of the extremely early Eivel fics, and for a while one of the very few pickings from the tag we had available. It's extremely emotional, sweet as hell, and is VERY liable to make you cry. God Eizen and Velvet love each other so much.... aaaaaa
In the Arms of the Ocean is incredible, and is still one of the best fics in this tag. I definitely recommend giving it a spin if you haven't already.
