Summary
Sirius found himself on stones in front of an archway. The stones were cold and dark, the archway was too. There was no visible ceiling to the room, nor walls. Just darkness, the stone floor and the arch. Everything in the room was perfectly still and quiet, except for the veil. It flowed and moved with a breeze that only seemed to exist for the fabric itself.
Sirius felt nothing. Until he felt everything. His memoires crashed into him like waves. The peace he had felt moments before drifted away from him like it’d never been there at all. The chaos that erupted in his head, in his heart, stood in stark contrast to the dark and quiet room he found himself in. It was unnerving.
