Palm’s shirt sticks to her back as she walks through the long hallways towards Nueng’s room. “It’s yours as well. Ours,” Nueng had said. Nueng’s hand was in Palm’s, her nails painted a pretty lilac and so soft compared to Palm’s own. “What’s mine is yours.”
The words echo in her mind as she pushes the door to their room open. She closes the door behind her before she catches sight of Nueng on the bed. Nueng’s wearing a soft shimmering pink robe, trimmed with lace, a lacy pink bralette, a matching pair of panties and stockings that hug her legs and upper thighs. Her head is tipper back on the pillow, her hair spills out over her shoulders as her right hand dips inside of her panties.

“Why the fuck would you care about me, I’m the reason Devon is dead. Maybe you forgot that little fact,” Noah hisses out. Connor shakes his head, watching Noah getting more agitated.
“No, you’re not, I don’t believe it.”
“That’s not my problem, is it?” Noah pushes against Connor and tries to walk away but Connor doesn’t let him.
“You would never hurt them,” Connor says with conviction. Noah flinches and stumbles out of his grip.
“What the hell are you on about?” Noah bites out, his hands clenched into fists, his breathing heavy. “What would you know?”
“You love them.” Connor is certain of this, even after years of not speaking Noah still looked at Devon the same way he did when they were kids. Like they’re the sun and Noah would rather be blinded than look away.
