    Penny Parker didn't ask to get transported into a multiverse where the vigilantes are bird-themed children and the crime lords have opinions about symmetry, but alas, Parker luck had overdone itself this time. New city, new rules, same woman who can't(won't) stop saving people even(especially) when it's wildly inconvenient. She's got a trigger-happy symbiote roommate with boundary issues, a few dollars in her wallet, and a nosy journalist who's seen her break bones with her bare hands and decided that's, apparently, completely fine.
    She's not a bat. She's just a very tired woman, her very judgmental alien best friend, and a whole city that has no idea that the night shift has just gained a new addition. But hey, she's gotten herself through college while almost dying every other day. She could do this. Probably.

    I don't have the correct words to describe how good of a fic this is. A well established trans penny Parker gets transported to Gotham, beats up some rapists, gets a girlfriend, buys a motorcycle, hacks into the government to get her phD back, what is not to love.

    Celine was put in an impossible situation. Run the Sunlight Sisters record label, try to keep demons out of the world in the absence of two hunters, and raise a child that wasn't hers, all on her own.

    Oh, and of course, just to add to the difficulty of her situation, the kid is half demon. She's lucky she's so stinking cute.

    I've seen so many stories completely villainizing Celine, which I'm totally interested in exploring don't get me wrong, but I also disagree that that's how she is in canon. She's a lot more complex than that, I think. That being said, this ALSO isn't based on canon. This is Celine doing a better job at being the parent Rumi needed.

    Also note that the first chapter is a prologue and not really in the style that the rest of the fic will be written in, it's just like that for atmosphere!
