Meeting one of Rhodey's fellow AFROTC cadets, who just so happens to be an amputee, makes it clear that Tony, for a genius, is really very stupid.

Summary
Sokka is immortal; it's been tested, he knows that he can't die. He's immortal, but he's not quite a god like his sister, Katara. He's immortal, but he's not quite powerful like his friends Aang and Toph.
He's just sort of Sokka: good at fixing things, good at playing pranks, good at helping people.
When a bet against Toph goes horribly wrong, and an attempt to save him goes even worse Sokka finds himself the unwilling guest of the Lord of the Underworld. And, strangely enough, every story Sokka's heard about Lord Zuko seems to be ... completely wrong.
(Also, he's really handsome. Why does he have to be handsome?)

Zuko snorted. Yeah, there is no way Hahn was making any progress with Sokka, especially considering the fact that Sokka hated him. And wow does Hahn reek of misogyny.
He must have snorted louder than he thought, because Hahn whipped around at the sound. “Got something to say, Ambassador?” he asked, his tone sickeningly sweet, for just as Zuko hated Hahn, Hahn hated Zuko.
Zuko took a long sip of water before turning to face him, a wide, fake smile on his face. “Actually, yeah,” he remarked. “I can’t help but notice that you’re talking about Sokka as if he were an object and not a person?”
[or Hahn starts coming after Sokka and Zuko is NOT having it. ft let zukka punch hahn 2021]

Then, her papa turned to her, placing a jittering hand on her shoulder. She thought nothing of it, his hands always moved a lot. “Sweetie,” he began, but his voice was rough and he had to pause to lick his lips. “Here, in the garden, let’s play a game. You know, our favorite game.”
He stood, gently pulling her up with him. Then, he pointed further into the garden, away from the pond. “Go over there, stay in the garden and hide. Stand very still, be very quiet, and I’m going to come find you.”
Oh, she loved playing hide and seek! Izumi was really good at hiding—it always took them so long to find her. They’ve never played in the garden before, though! There were lots of places to hide here! “This’ll be so much fun!” she told him, grinning and bouncing on the balls of her feet.
[or there's an assassination attempt while zukka and izumi are eating in the garden, so sokka suggests they play a game]
