Summary
Everything was going just fine for Vincent Whittman. He had plans, big ones that would make him brighter. It'd be perfect. That's when the strange man with the red vest and the strange smile showed up.
It was supposed to be a temporary gig. He was supposed to come and go like everyone else, and yet for some reason Alastor keeps coming back. It made no sense, everything about Alastor screamed that he hated this place and yet something was tying him here. Tying the two together. Fate works in mysterious ways, sure, but there has to be something more about this weird man with his perfect hair and his stupid smile and his pretty face, and Vincent was going to get to the bottom of it, even if it killed him.

Summary
This is a oneshot spin-off of If You Want It, Just Take It by art_snob. I recommend reading all the way through chapter 47 of that fic before reading this one.
In an alternate reality where Vincent's plan to get Gabriel blackout drunk so he can blow up his house isn't working as well as he'd hoped, he takes things a step further to ensure he'll get his chance, testing the limits of some of his own boundaries in the process.

Summary
If there truly was a Hell on Earth, Vincent had firmly found himself there.
He couldn't wrap his head around how his life had gone ass up; how he'd fallen so far from grace that he went from scraping the heavens with greedy hands, to crashing down, down, down into the deepest pit. He had been a god. Worshiped by the masses, adored in every American home, families gathered around the altar, eyes locked onto their televisions. Unable to look away from him.
Vincent had clawed and fought and murdered up the entertainment ladder, rung by bloody rung. Proved every rich executive wrong who dared to laugh at him, doubt him. He was the phoenix: transformed and reborn from the ashes of the bumbling, stuttering, weak weatherman, grateful for scraps. He was the voice of the people, who, with a righteous baptism, would usher forth a bigger, better, brighter future of entertainment.
And then, right on the precipice of ascension, his dreams shattered around him.

Summary
It was supposed to be The Vincent Whittman Show. It was always supposed to be The Vincent Whittman Show. But instead of standing on the stage, Vincent is in the audience. And in his place is a young, bright, dazzling redhead host.
Vincent has never liked to share the spotlight.

(This is a one-shot spinoff of my larger fic, "If You Want It, Just Take It". If you haven't yet, consider reading it! If you are a fan of IYWIJTI, THIS IS NOT CANON TO THE STORY!!! The characters are very ooc and this would never actually happen. Just a passion project I cooked up <3)

Summary
Vincent’s problem was always the same: he wants.
He wants, he wants, he wants. And no amount of getting or receiving will ever change that fact, will ever close the cavern inside of him that always wants more. Getting is secondary, underwhelming in comparison to the thrill of wanting. Of chasing. When he found something he wanted, he pursued it single-mindedly. He made a plan, he pulled his strings, he put every piece of the puzzle into place. That was when he was on top of the world. Receiving his prize was little more than a participation trophy, and by the time he got it he had usually already found another want. Want, want, want.
Sometimes, at night, he wondered if his luck would run out, and when. What happened when he met someone he couldn’t charm or bully into giving him what he wanted? Who was immune to his silver tongue, his clever quips, his flashy smile or a flirtatious bat of his mismatched eyes? What happened when he took a risk that didn’t pay off?
When Vincent takes a spring break trip to New Orleans to celebrate his upcoming college graduation, he may just find the answer to that question where he least expects it.
And it will alter the course of his life forever.
