Summary
This series is a love and smut story really but with a good plot! It will follow a mortal reader in her late twenties who meets the Lord of Dreams in the Waking World where he is looking to find one of his recently escaped nightmares, Lume. Lume can take on human form and has been walking free for months, staying away from the Dreaming and making it difficult for Morpheus to find him.
That is at least until Lord Morpheus meets you, a psychology student and artist who is particularly interested in the meaning and purpose of dreams and human psychology. You run a small studio in London where you exhibit your work, capturing the dreams of others in paintings after talking to them about their fears, desires and hopes. When Morpheus hears about a painting you have done recently, featuring a tall and handsome man surrounded by snakes, he channels through your somewhat disturbing and recurring nightmare and into your gallery, wanting to meet you and take a look at the painting. He claims to be interested in the said painting, pretending to be a mortal just like you and, whilst you realise that there is something strange about him, he captures your interest and you capture his.Bookmarked by Seneph
