Summary
The Fount knew that he wasn't a real Cookie. Yet, he longed to feel like one. To be one. Even with the other Virtues, he never had anyone to share the burden of knowledge with. Never had anyone to open up to, to talk about himself to. Even with the other Virtues, he had never truly had a friend who understood him--save for one, Vanilla Cream Cookie.
But now, Vanilla Cream Cookie was dead. The Fount didn't want to hold on any longer. He was done.
The world became chaos, and The Fount had embraced a new personality. One crafted from the lies and horrors of other Cookies. One he could use to hide away from the world, to hide his true feelings deep down. He enjoyed it, lying. It made him feel perhaps more like a real Cookie--and not just some servant of the Witches.
OR
An alternative universe where Pure Vanilla Cookie (Vanilla Cream Cookie) and Fount of Knowledge lived during the same time which then eventually escalates to the real plot of the story with smc and pvc.

Summary
When Pure Vanilla enters the Spire of Deceit to retrieve the other half of his Soul Jam—and maybe to understand the Beast who shares the other half of his Soul Jam—he unknowingly awakens forbidden memories Shadow Milk has buried inside the Spire long ago. But Shadow Milk hates being vulnerable. He hates Pure Vanilla.
But fate had other plans.
Or: (I'm bad at summaries, this is basically Shmilk reliving his past trauma) Inspired by the song House of Memories, a ShadowVanilla-centered fic, but also Shadow Milk-centered since this is him reliving unwanted memories.

Summary
Pure Vanilla Cookie briefly touched at his Souljam, its usual warmth dissipated into something lifeless and cold. Shadow Milk Cookie's eyes met this interaction, his brows creasing lightly; caution or dissent, Pure Vanilla Cookie couldn't tell.
"You had been in my Souljam this entire time?" Pure Vanilla Cookie asked, his voice soft, quiet. Shadow Milk Cookie nodded, a brief smile appearing on his face. Pure Vanilla Cookie glanced down at the Souljam, imagining this version of Shadow Milk Cookie trapped inside his Light of Truth, alone and afraid.
Pure Vanilla Cookie imagined the other Shadow Milk Cookie trapped in the Silver tree, alone and angry.
He dismissed his imagination, yet he reached a hand to Shadow Milk Cookie, smiling down upon him. Shadow Milk Cookie meets his gaze, a wave of confusion returns to his face. "Come with me."

I hate you.
I hate everything about you, and I’d wish nothing but death on you. I hate the way you carry yourself, ever so graceful, the way the wind blows through your hair on a lovely blue day, how the birds can’t help but sing whenever they fly past you and your idiotic face. Those eyes, and the way they always looked at me with a care I’ve never seen from anyone else. And that smile, a smile that always present even if not visible. Even on the worst days of your life you’re still able to smile.
I HATE you.
And yet, I can’t get you out of my mind.

“Doll, you’re so drunk.” Shadow Milk said as he moved to sit down in front of the healer.
“Yes… I suppose I am.”
“I don’t think I've ever seen you this drunk before.”
Pure Vanilla opened his mouth to try and say something, and ultimately failed, a garbled mess of voice and sound coming out instead. Shadow Milk couldn’t help but smirk.
“Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen you drunk before.” there was another pitiful noise from Pure Vanilla in response.

Pure Vanilla gets SUPER drunk and shadow milk ends up taking care of him for the night. Pure Vanilla is super clingy, shadow milk is super teasing, they're both super duper in love.

Summary
There's no sweeter lie than a dream. Your brain takes in memories and snippets of wants and fears and turns into a big ol' mush of nonsensical information you're free to interpret as you wish. Logically, it follows a liar would take interest in making use of this.
Or, Shadow Milk Cookie decides weakening Pure Vanilla Cookie before their next encounter would be an excellent strategic maneuver. What better way than by turning all of his dreams to nightmares by his own hand?
