Summary
The first time Soap sees Ghost's face isn't actually the first time.
“Think I saw an angel..” Soap says, pencil strokes light and so very careful as he shapes soft curls of hair lying across his muse’s forehead. “When I was goin’ out from the blood loss on the way to Al's safehouse.”
Carefully- reverently- he smudges the graphite with his fingertip to shadow beneath an eye. Now if he could get the lashes right... The angel had been blond and the ring of light behind him- a halo Soap supposes- had made the lightness of his hair and eyelashes pop in stark relief to the shadows of Las Almas, made him glow. “He was beautiful.”Bookmarked by Seraphim42

Summary
Two years ago, a series of murders took the city, fuck, the entire country, by surprise. They were brutal. Absolutely savage. Blood and gore were a huge part of the shock value that sickened and worried authorities and stunned the media. Three bodies dropped in a month.
Then there was nothing for two weeks. And another week. Everyone thought the killer had moved on.
After a month of calm, the following week, another body was found. The next week, another. The killer was back.

"Why don't we give him a show, then?"
Soap blinked rapidly and looked back at Ghost, his brain short-circuiting. "What do you mean?" he asked slowly.
Ghost's expression was neutral as he took a step closer. "Why don't we give him a show?" Ghost repeated himself, tilting his head to the side. "Your rooms are next to each other. Let's let him hear what he's missing."

Summary
The zombie apocalypse has come, and the world has collapsed. Soap survives, accompanied by Ghost, who wasn't quite so lucky. Instinct runs deep in the undead, and while Ghost craves human flesh, he would do anything to keep Soap safe. This is their life now, the living and undead walking side by side through the wilderness.
