Summary
Suho knelt, keeping his distance, and the sight of him—so close yet so far—twisted something in Sieun’s chest. Suho’s eyes were wet, his jaw tight, and Sieun knew he was piecing it together, knew the moment Suho’s worry turned to horror.
“Sieun,” Suho whispered, voice trembling. “Who did this?”
Sieun shook his head, tears mixing with the rain on his face. He couldn’t say it, couldn’t let the truth spill out and ruin everything.
“I’m sorry,” Sieun mumbled, the words barely coherent, lost in a sob. He didn’t know who he was apologizing to—Suho, for shutting him out, or himself, for failing to fight harder, for walking into that alley like a fool.

Summary
“Will you come with me? Every puppy needs his kitty,” Suho says with such a hopeful expression Sieun can’t bear to turn down.
With anyone else, Sieun would tell them no. Cats and dogs are natural opposites, typically posed as rivals in cartoons. Dogs are playful and brutish, unafraid to clamp their teeth around fragile skin. Cats are more calm and withdrawn, hissing when provoked.
In a way, that’s the dynamic he and Suho have. Yet, here they are—the portrait of a cat offering its primly groomed paw to that of an overexcitable dog wagging its tail.
Or, Sieun and Suho attend a costume party together and find out just how well cats and dogs can get along.
