Summary

A concussion from a nasty tackle by a frustrated teammate, causes Roy to be responsible for getting him home, which leads to some revelations as to why Jamie has actually slid back into his prick persona.

Roy has every intention of just turning around and walking away, Until he sees a boot flying across the room, nearly clocking Jamie in the face. Until he sees someone cuffing Jamie upside the head, screaming at him with disappointment and anger.

Jamie flinched, a small jerky movement backwards that made Roy worry for his mug. He focused on that instead of the rest of the worry he was feeling.
“Sorry. I’m not known for being tactful,” Roy gritted out, body tense with a now disgustingly familiar need to fix the situation. Fucking Ted Lasso.
“You can be when you want to be.”
what else is roy to do except organize a mass coming out in order to protect his favorite boy??

“The fuuuuuck,” Jamie mutters to himself, swiping back through the team page and his own page to double check the numbers. Why does Roy have so many more than anyone else? Who’s out there writing thousands and thousands of stories about Roy that don’t have Jamie in them? He frowns down at the screen, scrolling through the list under Roy’s name to confirm they’re all the same ones that are on Jamie’s page. They are. He frowns harder.
