He held out the cup, just filled a quarter of the way. Sam took it, because it was Mr. Wyatt’s gift and that meant something. Even if it looked and smelled bad.
Sam held the cup up to his lips, trying not to breathe the stench in. Squeezing his eyes shut, he knocked it back just like Dad did, figuring it would be better to just drink it all at once. His eyes snapped back open in shock.
It tasted good.
