    He watched as Hiyori swayed an object, holding it aloft with a playful flourish. He stayed quiet, looking at the swinging thing, a bit confused.
    “..?”
    “Hm? Does Shin not understand what this means..?” Hiyori asked with a pout. He was holding something up — then it clicked.
    Shin let out a squeak as he realized what Hiyori meant as he shook the mistletoe in front of Shin.
    It was a mistletoe.
    He felt both uneasy and uncertain as Hiyori’s cruel eyes stared at him, staring intently. The air around them felt suddenly charged, as if the playful atmosphere had shifted into something else entirely. Hiyori’s eyes, full of intensity and mischief, locked onto him, watching his every reaction. Finding amusement in his fear.
    Shin’s heart raced in his chest, unsure of how to respond.
