The routine of the bike going over the dirt road, or the smell of moon pies, the machine of mama, or even the silence of the town, all of that was part of my routine and it was supposed to keep going like this.
Until a new face showed up, those big doe eyes that had tons of secrets behind, a smile so big that could hide other unspoken feelings, and a voice so different that I couldn't understand him if he whispered.
