Summary
"Farewell, Master Burglar."
Cold dread gripped Bilbo's chest in a vice as his head jerked from side to side. Tears stung his eyes but he refused to acknowledge them. Not while Thorin lived. There was no need for them.
"No, no, no." Thorin's face still looked eerily beautiful even as it was caked in blood and grime and he gave the hobbit the softest of smiles as he gripped his hand.
"Go back to your books and your armchair. Plant your trees, watch them grow." Each word seemed to strain the dwarf but his eyes were locked on Bilbo with a quiet intensity. "If more people valued home above gold, this world would be a merrier place."-
Thorin and the boys get saved after the battle which brings them to see yet another day but it also means that the dwarven king has to find a way to deal with his affections for a certain oblivious hobbit burglar.
A marriage proposal in the way of the mountain folk would surely suffice to make everything clear.... wouldn't it?

Summary
“What day is it?” Derek demanded.
“What?”
“The day! What day is today?!” Derek let Stiles go, but only so he could reach into his pocket and pull out his phone. He tapped at the home screen, and then went so perfectly still that Stiles was pretty sure this guy wasn’t human. No human could stand that still.
When it was clear Derek wasn’t going to move again without some prompting, Stiles said, “It’s Wednesday.”
“That’s impossible,” Derek whispered.
“Not really, it comes around every seven days.”
“This is impossible,” Derek said again, looking around himself, as if he was searching for something.
