AU
Since the beginning of time, demons and humans share an animosity towards each other. The council want an end to it. To unite the human and demon race, the council has ensured that Sesshomaru and Kikyo must mate when they come of age. Everybody assumed that Sesshomaru would be a strong Alpha and Kikyo, a perfect Omega.
However, Kikyo presented as beta. Three years later, Kagome presented as Omega. Upon learning that, the council enacted that Kagome would assume her sister’s supposed role.
