Summary

Cassidy-joan has always known that she wasn't "normal", this fact being painfully obvious to her parents aswell. Cassidy was much more boyish than the rest of the girls her age, always digging in the dirt and catching bugs. But it's not like she REALLY wanted to do those things, she only did it because all the boys were doing it. Her parents convinced themselves it was just a phase she would grow out of and let her be. As Cassidy got older she realized that what she was feeling wasn't normal and should be repressed. But repressed feelings can often lead to a breaking point. One day Cassidy spontaneously cuts her hair and comes out to her boyfriend Milo as a trans man. But what happens when Milo suddenly discovers he has an old autism diagnosis on the same day. In less than a few hours two normal people are deemed as outcasts left to rebuild their sense of self with only a small support group.
