   Summary

   After being hurled back in time, our unnamed protagonist works to re-establish bonds with the demon brothers under the guise of their 'attendant'. After a rocky introduction, Satan gives them a glimpse into his inner world, the trauma of his creation, and the depth of his resentment towards the one who made him. Our noble protagonist works to help him carve out his own identity, but all the while, obsessed with his role as "adversary" to Lucifer, Satan privately works on a bizarre scheme that could put the entire Devildom in jeopardy.

   Satan feels angry and alone and incomplete so he decides to imbue shadows with a level of sentience and agency. Wacky hijinks ensue.
