“Actually I need your help. . . over here.” Ilya adds coyly. Shane shakes his head before he even enters the room, seeing, unsurprisingly, Ilya leaned against the doorframe holding the garland in both hands directly under the mistletoe.
“Is that so?”
“Hmm, yes. Yuna said she wanted it on the mantle, and I don’t actually know where that goes.” he adds, sobering a touch with his actual question, but it doesn’t last long. “But I need you to come over here and help me. It is very important. For Christmas.” he adds and starts twirling the end of the garland with one hand.
(ie. ilya is spending christmas with the hollanders for the first time and shane surprises him with misteltoe and ilya becomes a bit of a menace about it)

A reimagined scene from episode 6, where David Hollander is not immediately spotted by Ilya when he goes to grab his charger from the cottage. What if he had chosen to freeze rather than flee? He got a glimpse of domestic interactions between Shane and Ilya, and a chance to reassure Shane of his support. And maybe he starts to see a different side of Ilya Rozanov as well.
