    Dan Heng wakes up to Caelus in his bed time and time again. Sleepwalking, Caelus calls it. Safety, March calls it. Whatever it is, Dan Heng refuses to admit that maybe, just maybe, it's a comfort for him too.

    “You always know what to do,” the grey-haired man adds with another guileless smile.

    Coughing into his hand, Dan Heng realizes that their faces are almost as close to each other as they had been when March 7th had ordered him to perform CPR on Caelus.

    “Hardly,” Dan Heng says as he steps back and squares his shoulders.

    Caelus shakes his head. Cheeks flushed with colour and eyes shining, Caelus looks like an entirely different person than the lifeless body Dan Heng and March 7 stumbled upon during the Herta Space Station attacks.

    For Dan Heng, the realization comes quickly but surprisingly gently.

    Dragons are cold-blooded animals. Dan Heng is a Vidyadhara, and gets cold easily at night.

    Caelus is warm, since he has a stellaron running instead of a heart.

    Obviously this means it's entirely logical for them to cuddle and sleep together (literally).

    Dan Heng hopes Caelus won't notice the thermostat is turned down, and prays that his own thoughts stop being so... romantic.
