Summary
The Vidyadhara were the only beings upon the Xianzhou Luofu that were spared from the curse of being afflicted by the Mara. At least, that was how things were supposed to be. But when the Astral Express crew came to investigate the Stellaron at Kafka's instruction, the century-long hunt for his past lover leads Blade to find that there was more to the day of his death than he initially thought. He never expected the man who had forced him into eternal anguish to finally reappear before him, bathed in the vile gold of his sins.
In which Blade finally succeeds in dealing a killing blow to Dan Heng after years of being on the receiving end, but awakens the dormant Mara deep inside the man he once loved more than his own life.
