Summary
Piltover’s become no more after a war with Noxus, a conquering Mel Medarda was greatly credited for by her people. Years of staying in touch with her mother leaves Piltover in nothing but blood and rubble. The guilt Mel feels clashes with Noxian customs dramatically as she finds out that her lover was captured and held as a captive. A deep fear of losing him doing the right thing and losing the respect of her homeland leaves her stuck between two worlds. Fearing the possible loss of a lover only encourages her to love him as deeply as she can-without the need of freedom.
