Summary
In a time where the Nightmare Knight was never summoned, Almond grew to be a knight in Caketown while Cucumber became a magic professor at Autumn Moon Academy and Guild. Dreamside was peaceful, as always.
.. Until a student from Autumn Moon had ended up in Caketown, begging for help and claiming that the guild is under attack. Another issue is the whole Sky Kingdom going silent. Thus, Almond is sent to send the kid home and check on the Sky Kingdom.
But.. Little does she know of the dangers ahead of her.

CURRENTLY - CHAPTER 6: EYE OF THE STORM
Cucumber and Almond journey on to the Sky Kingdom and get to see the long-awaited Puffington's Academy for the first time.
Nautilus and Liquus break away from the party to rescue Chardonnay from the Dream Oracle and find out some answers about the Cycle.
Sir Carrot ends his time with the group to return to Caketown Castle and rescue Princess Parfait.
Rising tensions between Cordelia and the Nightmare Knight in the wake of Quakemaster's supposed loss inadvertently result in something awful happening to Peridot.
In the background, forces plot -- what is Glitchmaster planning? What's the deal with that Steve guy?This speculative/AU fic aims to pick up these characters where they left off at the end of Chapter 5 and explore what the remaining three chapters of Cucumber Quest may have entailed!
