So this is basically a bunch of chapters spanning from when Zhu Li was first hired by Varrick to their wedding. And yes, I'm huge a zhurrick fan so I'm going to make it very cute and angsty and fill in all the blanks left by the story and keep it canon compliant. This will have a lot of the classic tropes and just a lot of unrequited requited love so I hope y'all like it!! WARNING: Zhu Li does escape from an abusive relationship so if that is a trigger for you be sure to skip this fic (or just the 2nd chapter really).

I just watched Rush and I wanted to write the scene where Niki and Marlene meet from Marlene's perspective. I thought they were really cute (and I found Niki to be hella attractive) so I knew I had to write this. I think it will just be a one shot but if you guys like it I might keep going?

Summary
Zhu Li had a problem -- she was definitely, absolutely, in love with her boss.
But he wasn't in love with her. (probably).
Endeavouring to get over it all, Zhu Li, as in all cases, referred to a logical and methodical plan that had served her well in every issue from Ba Sing Se University to literal prison. But a last-ditch attempt leaves her questioning if every problem has a solution -- or if there was a problem at all.
