Summary
Remus slipped to the front and began driving, eyeing the man in the back wearily. Now, Remus had never worked on a case like Sirius’ before. Looks that could kill, set houses on fire and nobody would suspect a thing.
Worst of all, Remus was falling for it all.
He knew that Sirius did it – a bat of mascara eyelashes and a glossy pout did nothing to fool him.
But exactly that was what was driving him to just let Sirius run off free, live his posh boy life as an innocent man.
Sirius was sighing audibly in the back, twisting and turning in his seat.
“Do you really have to put those tight handcuffs on?” Sirius moaned, and the sound and sight of Sirius like that put the entirety of the investigation to an end. No more taking him to station, no.
Remus was going to do the rest of investigating all by himself.
