Cheoljong was shocked, and it seemed the emotion was shared considering everyone turned to look towards the woman who had yelled. Even the eunuchs glanced back, allowing Cheoljong to glance around him and spot the intruders.
It was Kim So-Yong, dripping wet, her braid falling apart and a small knife gripped in her hands. In her other was her binyeo which it seemed had fallen out of her hair. This alone would have been strange but the man tucked into her lap was where his eyes were drawn and to where they stayed.
