Summary
The heist was supposed to be simple- get in, steal the biggest diamond in the world, get out. Everything had been set up to ensure a fuss-free journey. Fulgur had disabled both the security cameras and alarms(tripwires, ground-based PIDS and more) beforehand, while Selen had slipped sleeping pills into the coffee cups of the unknowing guards. Alban himself had studied the layout of the vault and its surrounding structures for weeks, marking out the best possible routes.
It was a foolproof plan.
So when the tripwire closest to the diamond had activated and sent the alarm blaring, Alban was caught completely off guard.
