“No.” Was the answer provided to the scout, no explanation was given, nor did the boy hesitate. She seemed shocked at the outright denial, ”No?”
“No.” He echoed back to her, ”I can’t leave Eijun here alone, he would suffer. I would suffer,”
The lady looked at the boy sleeping beside Miyuki. He had carried him into the room with him, but she had assumed there was a different —less complex—- reason for it.
She had been scouting Miyuki for more than a year, and she was determined to get him onto the team no matter what.
“What if he came with you?” This seemed to catch the boy's attention, making him shift in his seat.
“He can do that?” she knew she had won him over then, leaving no reason for him to reject her again. “Leave it all to me, don't worry. He would be your responsibility, though, everything would be in your hands.”

Summary
The doorbell rings and Kazuya almost flies to the door to open it to a bright-eyed Sawamura Eijun, his cheeks flushed from the summer heat and something that makes Kazuya’s senses tingle.
“Miyuki-senpai!” Eijun yells, dropping the bags in his hands and throwing himself into Kazuya’s arms, vibrating with energy.
They revolve around each other like planets in orbit, through the mundane and the unexpected. Pitcher to catcher. Lover to lover.

Summary

Unknown to him, he was the new teacher that was replacing the teacher on maternity leave at Seidou high school.

“Kyahaha!” Kuramochi bends over in his chair, falling into hysterical laughter until he’s clutching at his sides. “Wait, wait, wait… are you fucking seriou—”
“Kuramochi,” Coach Kataoka warns, voice sharp to remind Kuramochi to behave properly.
“Sorry, sorry,” he chuckles, waving his hand in front of him once his laughter dies down. His shoulders are still shaking as he wipes at the tears in the corners of his eyes, looking at Miyuki with animated eyes and a smug smile. Miyuki pales because if Kuramochi’s cackling like an idiot then that means he’s also put the puzzle pieces together. “So you’re telling me that lover boy over here went into rut because of Sawamura?”
Miyuki's rut comes early and Sawamura's determined to make it his problem.

Summary
Seidou made their way up to the nation’s summit, but defending a title is different to chasing one.
Eijun, heading into his third year, and Miyuki, going for the NPB, strive to continue Seidou’s legacy with Okumura’s (sometimes reluctant) help.
It was only fair, Kazuya supposed, that after Sawamura gave him Koshien’s wide, summer sky, he should send the southpaw a galaxy in his return toss.
