Summary
Sometimes, all it takes is one rotten conversation for the world to change tracks. When Jin Zixuan inadvertently insults Jin Guangyao's mother, Jin Guangyao hatches the perfect plan for revenge. He will make Zixuan perfect wife, his precious A-Li, look like the whore of the Yiling Laozu. It works better than expected--and he expects the Yiling Laozu to erupt in fury and draw the sects' anger any moment now.
Suffice to say, Nie Huaisang isn't very thrilled with that option. After all, if the sects have to fight the Yiling Laozu, his Da-ge will be on the front line. And scandalous gossip about a demonic cultivator will always be more interesting than the life of a rather unimportant woman. And so - another rumor replaces the first. "Have you heard? The Yiling Laozu is a cutsleeve!"

The Sunshot Campaign is over, and Wei Wuxian is making a solid attempt to drown himself in alcohol. Meanwhile, Jin Guangshan has a plan to get control over the Tiger Seal: literally seducing Wei Wuxian to join the Jin. If he sends enough women, surely one of them will catch the Yiling Patriarch's eye? Jiang Cheng doesn't get paid enough to deal with this nonsense.
